She was greatly loved, she will be greatly missed.

I've known her all my life and in my eyes she was the best mom anyone could ever be blessed with. Her life was an example of how Christ lived. She loved God and loved people. She didn't have an easy life but she stayed strong and faithful to the end. She left a great legacy in children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. She had many wonderful friends that speak of her smile and laugh. She left last night for a better place as her family sang "It is well with my soul". I can hear the Lord saying "Well done thou good and faithful servant"

Forever our Grandma

Dorothy Jeannette Runyan.
Born - May 15th, 1919
Died - May 30th, 2006



To a few she was known as Dorothy.
To fewer still she was known as "mom".
But I don't think any of us will know the amount of people who knew her as Grandma.

Tonight she reunited with the one who knew her as wife.
Tonight she came into the everlasting presence of the one who calls her child.
Tonight she left our sight but if I know anything she will still be, Forever our Grandma.
